Welcome!

Lomond and Clyde Community Orchestra aims to encourage the playing of music in the community. Membership is open to players of all ages and all abilities. The Orchestra meets once a week for rehearsals in St Michael's Church Hall, William Street, Helensburgh from 10.00 to 12.00 noon from autumn through to spring. Our conductor is Mike Calder, formerly principal double bass with the Halle Orchestra, and experienced teacher. We give two major concerts each year plus additional performances around Christmas time. To hear examples of the Orchestra in performance, please go to the videos page.
